Central Retail Corporation

On May 13th, 2024, Mr. Yon Phoksap, the Chief Executive Officer of Central Retail Corporation PLC, unveiled CRC’s robust operating results for the first quarter of the year, showing a significant increase from the same period last year.

Compared to the previous year, CRC’s net profit saw a commendable increase of 0.1%, and its total revenue rose significantly. This was a result of our strategic decisions to introduce new brand products, expand and renovate branches, and leverage the government’s ‘Easy E-Receipt’ policy to our advantage.

In addition, the CRC had other sources of income, such as rental services and department stores, which boosted its number of customers.

Three distinct categories – fashion, hardline and food – could be used to divide the sales revenue.

The fashion section can create 16. 2. Celebrities in fashion and lifestyle who meet the demands of their customers became supporters of the CRC. The CRC established two additional branches in Nakhon Sawan and Nakhon Pathom.

House and office wares are expected to generate higher sales in the hardline segment in Thailand, with an estimated 4.1% more than the previous year. Despite the progress, revenue in Vietnam decreased due to customers’ cautious spending behaviour by their country.

The food section may see a revenue increase of 24.5 billion dollars or 7% compared to the previous year. The three chain stores opened by the CRC in Bangkok, Nakhon Sawan, and Nikhon Pathom during the first quarter are known as Tops Supermarket.

Robust business strategies, based on the concepts of Leading Excellence and Advancing Sustainability, were used to achieve favourable operating results for the company.
