Police and relevant agencies were dispatched to the reported warehouse by Mueang Chachoengsao, where four adjacent private warehouses were in open areas. It started the fire at a marijuana plantation and storage facility.

The firefighters from Mueang Chachoengsao demonstrated their unwavering dedication, working tirelessly to spray water on the raging fire. Their efforts were instrumental in containing the fire within three other nearby storage facilities.

Firefighters controlled the fire for about 50 minutes. According to the police, the incident did not result in any injuries or casualties.

Mr Patthorn Sitthikarn, the Mayor of the Khlong Luang Phaeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, said that an electrical short circuit could have caused a fire, and the wall covering some of the marijuana warehouses was covered with burning substances.

The Mueang Chachoengsao forensic and relevant officials will first examine the warehouses to determine the exact cause of the fire incident.

The fact that the Thai Prime Minister has announced his intention to recriminate marijuana is ironic, given that it comes at the same time as this week’s events.
